Worship by the Water started as a small group of people in the Atwood, Kansas area that felt the urge of God to do something encouraging for the community. In recent years our community has suffered greatly from the loss of young people to suicide.  In a small, rural community like Atwood, suicide doesn't just affect family and friends, it wounds the entire community.

 

We had to do something to bring hope and inspiration to our community. We had to do something that the whole community could participate in. It is from that desire to heal our community that God led us to the free concert events at own Lake Atwood.
